I have been reborn and I am now a strong warrior woman. These are my stories.

I have been reading a lot lately and just wanted to share my thoughts on a few books I've recently read.

"Belle Weather, Mostly Sunny with a Chance of Scattered Hissy Fits" by Celia Rivenbark - Hillarious stories by the southern female Dave Barry.  I think I will have to look for her other books now.

"A Fatal Waltz" by Tasha Alexander - This was probably my favorite of the bunch.  I love suspense and mystery novels and also historical fiction.  So what could be better than a book that combines the two?  Also add a wonderful description of 18th century Vienna.  I will definately be looking for more books by this author.  The main character Emily was a delight.  Did I mention there was a bit of romance too?  Everything you need to make a read worthwhile.

"Queen of Babble Gets Hitched" by Meg Cabot  This was a pretty lightweight book but it was just a quick fun read.  There's nothing wrong with a little bit of fluffy reading for pure entertainment.  The basic premise is that someone's getting married but is she marrying the right man?  Do you already know the answer?  I immediately knew the answer but it was fun watching her figure it out.  Though there were times when I wanted to shake her and say "what are you thinking woman?!"

"The Curse of the Spellman's" by Lisa Lutz I actually enjoyed this book more than the first in the series "The Spellman Files".  This was a mystery about a family of private investigators.  Izzy is almost as much fun as Stephanie Plum.  I do have to add that I found the footnotes a combination of funny and annoying.
