I have been reborn and I am now a strong warrior woman. These are my stories.

"Be an appreciator of the seemingly small things in life; a smile, a kind word, a beautiful flower, a few hours of unstructured time, a laughing child, for it is the small things that become the warp and weft of the fabric of your life."

I was inspired by Jillusers post to start writing a daily gratitude list.  I do have a tendency to focus on the negative and I want to remember that I still have many, many things to be thankful for

My friend came to visit with me today.

The girls played together well almost the whole day.

I got paid to day.

VM season 3 went on sale at Target.

No bills in the mail.

I got to practice face painting the girls.

School supplies are on sale.

I got a yummy calzone from Joe's for lunch.

I remembered to put the trash out this morning.

I found my son's cell phone that he thought he had lost.

See - my life's not so bad.

An optimist sees delight in every thing around them.  The pessimist only sees the smile on the optimist's face and wonders what the hell they're smiling about.

I always have time to look at birdlife, to watch a lizard crawl across a wall, to marvel at the joy my cat gets from rolling in the grass, to make my wife laugh or spend a moment thanking the universe for the life I have.

That's wonderful.  Smiles, Maso.

Wow, glad I could inspire. It is often easier to have the negative stick in your mind than the positive. You can get a million compliments but it the one case of ridicule that stands out. Making note of the good things, no matter how small, is a very good idea.

Kudos!
