I know that customer service is going to heck but calling 911 is still a bit extreme.  A man was upset that they did not put the correct sauce on his sub sandwich so he called 911.  You know, 911, what you call if say someone is breaking into your house, or your house is on fire or you're been in a car accident - NOT who you call if the fast food joint gets the order wrong.

For the uninformed what you do if they get your order wrong is ask to talk to the manager.  If the manager can't or won't help then get the handy 800 customer service number and call them but don't waste emergency services time.  This guy ended up being charged with making false 911 calls.  I'm glad someone who has a true emergency might not be getting help quick enough if they 911 operators and police are dealing with an ijit like this

Dummy. What a dummy. How does somebody not know that 911 is for an emergency, not your own (or somebody else's) inconsequential incompetence?

What a moron. The cops should have just shot him on the scene and saved the world a bit of space.

There are laws against that. Did the cops arrest him? Hopefully!

I actually found that filling out the complaints (in this case on line) sometimes gets their attention. I visited Popeyes and was charged too much, and given the wrong chicken. So I wrote a nasty complaint. The owner called me! He appologized, explained some stuff, and offered me a free meal ( I declined - that sounded too much like blackmail on my part). I thanked him for taking the time, and told him based on his response, I would frequent the place again. I have, and so far, I have gotten what I ordered.

He kept a customer, and I got a measure of satisfaction by using the established complaint avenue.
